Tilda Easter Card

I got some new stamps and dies in the mail today and thought I'd take some time to play with them.  Here is a card I made using "Tilda with Egg and Chicken".

I used the following Copic markers:

         Skin - E11, E00, E000, R20

Hair - E27, E25, E23, E21

Dress - Y18, Y15, Y13, Y11

Shoes - C8, C6, C4

Sweet Stamps Easter Challenge

Today our challenge at Sweet Stamps blog is Easter, create a card or project with this theme in mind. This is an awesome challenge, we want to see what you come up with for this theme. Can't wait to see what you all can come up with, but be sure to use a Sweet Stamps stamp....

I used the "Taylor the Bunny 'lil Sweeties" and " Happy Easter" stamps for my card today.  I also used Cheery Lynn Dutch Doily Rectangle Frame Die.  I added some cut out eggs from some DP that I had and a bow with a jeweled brad in the center. Hope this will inspire you to get out those stamps and dies and see what you can come up with.

Twilight Sparkle

I had another ME day today.  I used another image called "Twilight Sparkle" from Mazy Art. It was a freebie image.  I just love these images.

I made a gatefold card. Here is a picture of it slightly opened.

Starberries anyone!!

I have a fun post for today.  I sat down and had a ME day. I came across a website that had some really awesome images.  The website is Mazy Art Blog.  I decided to enter her latest challenge that is Anything Goes.  Here is my card for this challenge:

I just love this image.  It reminds me of the time when I took my 2 daughters to go pick strawberries.

 Here is my project:

I did some parchment crafting for my card today.  I used the "Large Easter Cross" and stamped it using some white dye ink onto a piece of parchment paper.  I then sprinkled some Fine White detail embossing powder over it and heat embossed it.  I then used my stylus' to do a bit of etching.  After I finished with the etching, I used some Memento Markers to add a bit of color to my image.  I then used a 4-split Needle Tool to go around the outside edges of my image to create a perforated edge.  I cut out a mat for my image using Cheery Lynn Scallop Coved Rectangle out of blue card stock.  I cut out 2 French Lattices out of blue cardstock. I made a gate fold card, so I placed one of the lattices on each fold, I had to cut it down to size in order to fit.  I then attached the coved rectangle with the parchment on it to the right side.  To finish off my card, I added some blue gems to give it a bit of sparkle.

The Rubber Buggy March Challenge

Hey Everyone,

Here is my project for this awesome challenge:

My card is called a "Double Z-Fold Card", directions can be found HERE. I have used "Mimosa So Sweet" from Bildalarna. I stamped my image onto Cryogen CS and colored her in using Copics.  My DP is from the Prima Hello Pastel paper pad and the flowers are also from Prima. I added a few pearls to the corners.

Sparkle N Sprinkle March Challenge

March has arrived and it is time for a new challenge at the Sparkle N Sprinkle Creative Challenges Blog.  This month the theme is “Anything Goes - WITH GLITTER”.  You can use any colors as long as you use glitter!!  Make sure you check the challenge blog for all the details, along with the winner of the February challenge.

 

I used the stamp Bunny with Hat for my image today.  I used my postage stamp die to cut out my shape from some sticky paper.  I added some crystal ice glitter over the entire cut out.  I then stamped my image onto the glittered cut out and colored her in using copics. For the mat behind her I cut out a larger postage stamp die using some sticky paper.  I centered by colored image onto the middle of the larger die cut.  I added some tinsel glitter around my colored image to create a frame. The corner pieces are just a smaller die cut, cut in half with tinsel glitter on them.  I added some ribbon and a bow. 


Your card doesn’t need quite this much glitter, but it does need a little sparkle.  You have until 8: oo p.m. EST on March 31^st to link your project at the SNS Creative Challenges Blog for a chance at a stamp set of your choice.  We can’t wait to see what you create!!
