Cinder - Cute As A Button February Inspiration

Hi everyone, it’s Dawn here (again!) on this fabulous Monday and I have a fun and easy little project to share using Cute As A Button digital image Cinder. I made a Double Accordian Gate fold card.

When I color all those pretty Cute As A Button stamps I like to keep a record of the Copic colors I used – that way it is easier to keep track of my color choices for future use.

Copics used:
Skin - E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair - E27, E25, E23, E21
Clothes  - G19, G16, G12, Y15, Y13, Y11
Shoes - C6, C4, C2, C1
Duster - W5, W1, RV19

Directions on how to make the card

First you need to color your image. Here's the completed colored image:

Next, Using a die, cut out your image:

Next you want to cut out your mat for behind the image. Using a slightly larger die, cut out your mat:

To create the card base: Cut a piece of cardstock to 6x12.

 Score CS at 2, 4, 8, 10

Fold on score lines:

Cut pieces of Cardstock to decorate your card base. You will want to cut 1 piece of green cardstock to 3 7/8 x 5 7/8. Then you will want to cut 4 pieces of green cardstock to 1 7/8 x 5 7/8 and 4 pieces of yellow cardstock to 1 3/4 x 5 3/4. Cut another yellow cardstock at 3 3/4 x 5 3/4, this will be for the inside of the card.
Here is all your pieces for your card:

Lay out your pieces so you can see what the finished card is going to look like. If you like the way it looks, then assemble your card.

 Here's the finished card:

Just Kitten Around!!

I'm here on this fabulous Tuesday to share with you one of Joy Clair's New Stamp Sets.  The stamp set I'm showing today is called "Just Kitten Around".

I stamped my main image and colored it using copics onto cryogen cardstock. I used a die to cut it out and for the mats behind it.  I also stamped my sentiment and cut it out using the same die and for the mat behind it.  My main card base is 6 x 6.  I cut out a 5 3/4 piece of aqua cardstock into a square and then a 5 1/2" square of patterend cardstock. I layered the squares as follows, white card base, aqua square, patterend square. I attached some die cuts and put them off center from one another and added some pearls down the middle of them. I attached the main stamped image and sentiment that I matted. Hope this will give you some inspiration on how to use the new stamp set.

The new stamp sets are on sale Feb 22 thru Feb 28th. The February new stamp release sets are $11.24 or you can buy the bundle for $80.

I layered the squares as follows, white card base, red squareb, lack square then the white square background. I attached some ribbon and then I attached the main stamped image and sentiment that I matted. I added a bow to finish it off. Paper Crafting World.com DT Call

Good Afternoon -  PaperCraftingWorld.com is having a Design Team Call.  I just got a  Cricut Explore Air about 4 months ago and would like to do more with it. So I decided to try out for this design team.
I was inspired to enter their team call because they appear to want a team with a friendly approach which I believe is one of my qualities, I enjoy browsing other people's blogs to see how they have made things and leave them some love - this is often how I get my inspiration for my own makes. I like to use a variety of products and always promote where these are from on my blog posts. As well as my blog, I am an active member of a number of social media sites and love posting my makes on there sharing info of the companies I am designing for. If I am doing design team work I always try and make a focal point of the image or product I am using so it is shown to it's best advantage.
Here is a shaker card I made using an SVG file:
Here is a card I made using digital printables:

Here is a card I made using a digital image:(This is what I manly use for all my cards) They are all colored using Copic markers.

As you can see I am very versatile in what I work with.  Thanks for the chance to try out for your Design Team.
