Celebration Blog Hop

We here at Joy Clair have collaborated with two awesome companies: DieVersions and DL.ART to come up with a fun and festive Celebration Blog Hop. We want to showcase how well our three companies products work together. Joy Clair makes high quality clear stamps; Die-Versions makes very intricate and lovely dies and DL.ART makes gorgeous rayon hand dyed crinkle ribbon and also carries bakers twine and other hand crafted seasonal supplies.

Welcome to Day 3 of the Celebration Blog Hop. Design Team Members will be sharing with you projects they have made for all the many upcoming Celebrations that come around this time of year, ie... Weddings, Baby Showers, Baby Births, Grasuations, Father's Day and of course Birthdays!. All Design Team members will be using supplies from all three companies to make their projects so you can see for yourself how lovely these products work together and how dies, stamps and ribbons are the perfect combination.

There will be prizes for those who comment on all the blogs over the three days and who become followers of all the blogs. The prizes will be announced on all three of the companies blogs: Joy Clair, DieVersions and DL Art blogs on Sunday, May 22nd.

You should have came here from the wonderful Lori Kobular's blog. IF NOT, THEN PLEASE START AT THE BEGINNING OF THE AT DIE-VERSIONS BLOG.   THE ENTIRE LIST OF DESIGNERS FOR THE ENTIRE CELEBRATION BLOG HOP IS LISTED ON THE DIE-VERSIONS BLOG.

Now is time to share my project......

Today I used the "Oh Baby"  stamp set from Joy Clair, The "Baby Border" die from DieVersions and
the Baby Bundle ribbon from DL Art. I started out by stamping my image and sentiment. I colored my image using Copics. I used the "Stitched Nesting Squares" dies from DieVersions to cut them out and for the mats behind them.  I cut out 3 of the "Baby Border" die. I used a card base of 6x6 and I attached the Baby Border to the top and sides of the card front edge. I then layered some pink CS and some pink striped CS on top of the card base.  I added a stripe of white ribbon from DL Art down the right hand side of the card front.  I attached my layered image to the slight middle of my card front and the layered sentiment to the upper right side of my card front.  I added a bow made from the pink ribbon from DL Art.  I then added a few pearls in the upper left side.

Here's a closer look at my colored image and sentiment:

Project number 2:

I stamped my sentiment from "Oh Baby" from Joy Clair onto some white CS and used a die to cut it out and for the mat behind it.  I cut out the "Bassinet" die from DieVersions from blue CS.  I used a SVG file and my Cricut to create the card base. I added a stripe of blue ribbon from DL Art down the left hand side of my card front. I attached the Bassinet cut out to the front of the card as well as my layered sentiment.  I added a bow made from the ribbon from DL Art.

Now onto the wonderful Irit Shalom's blog for more great projects using Joy Clair stamps, DieVersions dies and DL Art ribbon....

Joy Clair is giving three gift cards of $25 to the Joy Clair Store.  One for each day! Happy Father's Day

I'm here on this fabulous Sunday to share with you one of Joy Clair's New May Stamp Sets.  The stamp set I'm showing today is called "Father's Day".

I stamped my sentiment using Black ink pad.  I used a spellbinder dies to cut out my sentiment and for the mat behind it.  I layered some designer CS onto my main card base and then layered another designer CS on top of that. I adhered my sentiment to the mat.  I also used the dies to cut out the red checkered die cut and for the mat behind it. I adhered these to the card front. I added some ribbon tied in a knot.

Check out the Joy Clair's blog for our monthly  challenge that is going on.  The Theme for this month is "Anything Goes ". So let's see those awesome creations using the color pallette shown on the blog.
