MHKDesigner Inspiration

In My Heart

Scrap N Dipity May Challenge

I have a card to share for Scrap N Dipity's new April challenge of "Creating Your Own Background".

I have used the cute "Butterfly Fairy".

Yello!!

The Project Bin is a stamp company that makes snappy Sentiments.  I was able to use the "Yello!" stamp set to create my project.  This stamp set comes with 7 stamps and 1 die.


I stamped the lemons onto some white CS and colored them in using my Spectrum Noir markers.  I fussy cut them out.  I layered some plaid CS onto the top of my card base I then took a piece of white CS and stamped my sentiment onto it.  I then attached my cut out lemons. I then added a bow.

I Dig You!

The Project Bin is a stamp company that makes snappy Sentiments.  I was able to use the "Kinda Pawsome" stamp set to create my project.  This stamp set comes with 9 stamps and 2 dies.



I used one of the dies to cut out the dog.  I then used my Misti tool to line up the dog stamp and stamped it onto the cut out. I used a die to cut out my mats for behind the dog. I layered some teal CS  and some plaid CS on top of my card base.  I then attached my matted image and my sentiment.

MHKD May Challenge

Hello Friends! Welcome to our new MHKDesigns May Challenge . This challenge is all about keeping it simple and having fun while creating.  Each month you will get a photo prompt. You decide which you're inspired by to create your work of art.  And you are free to make what ever paper project you fancy - a card, scrapbook layout, a tag, a box, art journal page... you choose!!! The options are limitless.

The Design Team will be showcasing products from MHKDesigns Etsy Shop and we would love to see you use them too.However you are free to use any products and enter the challenge to win some fabulous goodies by MHKDesigns. If you use stamps or papers from MHKDesigns you may ignore the prompt altogether, i.e. it's ANYTHING GOES for you!!

Let's take a look at the Challenge Prompt:


I made a Hoppy Easter card featuring the MHKD's Eat Your Cake digi set. I kept it fairly CAS by only adding some multiple layers, some ribbon and a bow! :)

Here's a closer look at the image.  I printed out the cake and colored it using copics. I used a die to cut out my image and for the mat behind it.



The winner of this Challenge stands to win some fabulous products by MHKDesigns. So make sure you follow the challenge rules and you'll be eligible for the prize. And if you need a little creative boost, you'll find more inspitation by the rest of the Design Team over at the Challenge Blog. You have until April 1st to link up your project.
