Winter Fun Snowman

It's time for another SP&CO post.  This week is to Winter Wonderland Week.I used the really cute "Winter Fun Snowman" stamp set by Gill Roberts today. A scarf will keep you just warm enough.

My card is 6" square .  I stamped my image onto cryogen cardstock and colored it in using copics. I just cut out my image in a rectangle shape and for the mat behind it.  My DP is from Wild Rose Wintry Christmas paper pad.  I added some lace and pearl swirls and a corner decoration.

Forest Friends Celebrating

It's time for a new challenge at SP&CO blog. The challenge is "New Technique". We want to see a technique on your creations.  For this challenge I chose to do "3D Paper Piecing".  It was fun to do.
I got the directions from Splitcoast Stampers tutorials.  Check it out and give it a try.

For my card today I used "Forest Friends Celebrating" and sentiment from "Holiday Insides".  This is another cute image from Gill Roberts collection.  I can just imagine what fun the forest friends will have at their celebration. The technique I used is 3D paper piecing.

I stamped my image about 4 times.  I colored different sections of each and then fussy cut the parts out, I left one fully colored and untouched to be used as the base.  I used some pop dots to attach each piece to the main image. Give this technique a try and you will really see your image POP.......

A closer peek at my 3D paper piecing:

Supplies Used:

gems
ribbon and bow
bazzill cardstock

Hope you will come over to the SP blog and check out all the creations from the design team and enter our challenge of a "New Technique".

Kissing Bears

Over at SP&CO Blog, we have a new theme.  The theme this week is "Winter Hues".

Isn't this the cutest image.  The Kissing Winter Bears is from the Gill Roberts Collection. You can color them to fit in with what ever theme you want to go with. So versatile. I colored the image using Copics, V17, V15, V12, BG18, BG15, BG13.  I used the Captivating Squares die from Spellbinders to cut out my image and for the purple mat behind my colored image.  I added some ribbon and a bow and added a few pearls.

I hope you'll come over to the SP blog for our new theme, "Winter Hues".
