Designer's Choice Challenge - Repeat Impressions

It's time for a new Challenge over at the House that Stamps Built!
The Challenge is called Designer's Choice.

Here's how the "Designer's Choice Challenge" will work!
All of the fabulous design team members for Repeat Impressions
will be assigned a Wednesday, and we get to set the
"theme" for the challenge!  The Theme for this
week's DCC is hosted by Makiko and she is
challenging the Rock Stars to make a card using
Outdoors /Wild life!!

Here is my creation for this challenge:

My card is made using the largest of the dies from the Grand Labels 4.
I then scored at 2 3/4 inches from both ends and then folded
on the scored lines.  I also used my scoring tool and created
the lines you see on the front of the card, to make it have a
bit of texture.  I added some twine and of course my
"Loon" image.

Hope you all will join in the fun over at Repeat Impressions....

Take a peek at what the rest of the DT has created for
this great Challenge.

Dawn this is such a unique and cleaver twine treatment. I love how you've scalloped the edges, giving the twine a flow for framing the loon image. The colors are all working perfectly for your design too.

I had to swing by and see how you made this awesome card... how did you do the shaped front of the card? I love the bakers twine and how you did that! Can you share the details on how to do this look?
