Welcome to the Joy Clair August Release Blog Hop! The design team has been working hard creating a variety of projects that are sure to spark your creativity juices! You should be arriving from the talented Lee Anns blog. If you happened to join the hop in the middle, please start at the Joy Clair blog!

Joy Clair’s August's release contains five stamp sets, 3 from the every day stamp sets and 2 stamp sets from their new bible journaling line, Color by Faith!

I am excited to be sharing my project from one of the new sets called "Everyday Sentiments":

I used a die cut and the "Just for You" sentiment on my card today.  It is fairly simple, just cut out the die cut. Cut out the matting and attach to card front.  Adhere the die cut.  Then stamp the sentiment where you would like it to be.

Now let’s talk about prizes! There will be Two winners  from the blog hop. The winners will receive a $25 gift card to Joy Clair stamps!  All you have to do is leave comments all along the hop and on the Joy Clair blog.

We LOVE to hear from you! You have until  August 4th at midnight EST to leave your comments. The winners will be announced by August 8th.

Thank you for stopping my blog! Your next stop will be the talented Monica's blog!

Hoppy Birthday

I'm here on this fabulous Wednesday to share with you one of Joy Clair's Stamp Sets.  The stamp set I'm showing today is called "Hoppy Birthday".

I stamped my image and sentiment using two of the stamps from the set.  I stamped my image onto cryogen CS and colored it in using Copics.  Copics used YG09, YG07, YG06, R22, YG21, YR09, YR07, YR04.   I then used a die to cut out my colored image and the sentiment. I used another die for the mats behind the image and sentiment.   I layered some green and orange CS onto my main card base and then layered a border strip with green, orange on my card front. I created a double bow using a die set and attached it to the right side on my strip. I attached the layered image and the sentiment to the card front as shown. I added some pearl swirl to finish off my card.

Here's a closer peek at my colored image:

Today I used the "Oh Baby"  stamp set from Joy Clair, The "Baby Border" die from DieVersions and
the Baby Bundle ribbon from DL Art. I started out by stamping my image and sentiment. I colored my image using Copics. I used the "Stitched Nesting Squares" dies from DieVersions to cut them out and for the mats behind them.  I cut out 3 of the "Baby Border" die. I used a card base of 6x6 and I attached the Baby Border to the top and sides of the card front edge. I then layered some pink CS and some pink striped CS on top of the card base.  I added a stripe of white ribbon from DL Art down the right hand side of the card front.  I attached my layered image to the slight middle of my card front and the layered sentiment to the upper right side of my card front.  I added a bow made from the pink ribbon from DL Art.  I then added a few pearls in the upper left side.

Here's a closer look at my colored image and sentiment:

Project number 2:

I added a stripe of blue ribbon from DL Art down the left hand side of my card front. I attached the Bassinet cut out to the front of the card as well as my layered sentiment.  I added a bow made from the ribbon from DL Art.
