Repeat Impressions Stamp of The Week

Repeat Impressions "Stamp of the Week" is on their blog "The House that Stamps Built", and the "4318-K, Stork" is the featured stamp! The sentiment is "8601-E, Little One" from their "Quartet Complements" which has quite a number of excellent sentiment stamps. Make sure you visit their blog for the special offer on the Stork stamp! The details to this offer is only available on their blog! Also, check out the rest of the design teams' fabulous creations with this fun and versatile stamp.
I stamped the Stork using my Kaleidacolor Rainbow
ink pad in blue breeze.  I took the sentiment stamp and
stamped it straight, instead of on 2 lines.  I used
a few of the new Spellbinder dies the Ribbon Banners and
Elegant Posts, I also used my Scallop Rectangles and the
New Arrival dies.
So Sorry for the late and short post, but I am feeling
under the weather this past week.
Be sure to check out the creations by some of the other RI Rock Stars
below to get more inspirations!!!!

Repeat Impressions What IF Wednesday Sketch Challenge

It’s WHAT IF? Wednesday
and time for a new sketch challenge!
The sketch that Wendy designed for the Rock
Stars to follow is:

Here is my take on this sketch:

I have used 912-K, Tulip Bouquet for
my card today.  I stamped my image onto
Cryogen Iridescent white card stock using
Kaleidacolor Rainbow ink pad in Blue Breeze.
I cut my stamped image out into a square shape
and added a slightly larger Dk Aqua mat behind it.
I used some light tan and Dk aqua card stock and
a Martha Stewart border punch for my stripes.
I was playing around with the corner punch that
matched the border punch and came up with
my corner embellishment.  I added some pearls
and VOILA my card is complete....

Here is a closeup of my stamped Tulip Bouquet:
I really like these Kaleidacolor rainbow pads,
why have I not gotten then sooner than last week, I don't know....

Head on over to the House That Stamps Built blog and
see what the rest of the Rock Stars have created with
this great sketch.  While you are there why not enter
a creation that you have done following the sketch.

The rules are really simple......
Your card doesn’t even have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps,
but if you would like to include our designs we would really love to see them!
Plus you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing
for using our stamps in your submissions! Simply create a
card based on the sketch, upload your card to your blog
or Splitcoast gallery, then link your card to this post

Have Fun and I can't wait to see all the wonderful creations.

Sweet Stamps Birthday Challenge

This past week has been a fun week over at
Sweet Stamps Challenge Blog with the Butterfly
Challenge.  So many awesome entries.

Today is Tuesday and that means that it is time
for a new challenge at Sweet Stamps.

The new challenge is "Birthday".
For my card today, I used an awesome embossing
folder from Marianne Designs called
I also used a few stamps called "Fancy Flowers Set #1 S001"
which I stamped with White Dye ink onto Vellum and embossed
with Gold detail embossing powder and used my
Embossing tools to emboss my images. I then
perforated my images and attached them to my card.
I also used the stamp "Happy Birthday Old Fashioned 937".
I stamped my sentiment using "Montego Bay Ink Pad" onto
Cryogen Iridescent White Card Stock.
I added some gold pearls to finish it off.
Another plain and simple card for me.

Hope you will check out all the other awesome
creations from the Sweet Stamps DT.

Whimsy Stamps May Rubber Release Sneak Peeks

Today is Day 3 of the Sneak Peeks for the new May Rubber
being released at Whimsy Stamps on May 18th.
Today's Sneaks are for Kenny K stamps.

My card uses the Kenny K stamp called "QueensCutie".
I was going for plain and simple for my card today.
I was trying not to use flowers, ribbons and bows.
So I used a couple of the awesome dies that
Whimsy Stamps has.  I used Double Scallop
Border Die and Double Scallop Tag Die.
I also used a sentiment from the new
"Magical Mini Seals" stamp set.

Here is a close up look at my colored Kenny K image:
She is of course colored with my Copics.

Here's a close look at my Double Scallop Tag with sentiment:
There are so many things you can do with these dies.
You can thread ribbon through the slots, add pearls or
rhinestones to the holes, etc.... I went for plain and
simple today.....

Wanna see more? Stop by the Whimsy Inspirations Blog to see
the other designers showcasing Kenny K stamps today!

Hope you have enjoyed my sneak peek for today.....

Whimsy Stamps

It it Thursday and that means that it
is time for a new digi release from Meljen's Designs.
Today Melissa has released some really great
Graduation digi's.  You can check them out in

I have used the "Graduation Mouse" for my card today.
I really like this new digi. These can be used
for any type of Graduation.  My image is
printed onto Cryogen Iridescent White Card Stock
and colored with my copics.  I then took the
"Grad Cap" and made my background paper.

Here is a closer look at my Graduation Mouse:
I used the colors Gold and Black because
they are the colors of my daughters school.
She will graduate next year, then I will only have one more
in school.... Gosh I'm feeling old now....

Don't forget to check out the Meljen's Design Team
and Challenge blog to get more inspiration with these
new digital images.

Designer's Choice Challenge - Repeat Impressions

It's time for a new Challenge over at the House that Stamps Built!
The Challenge is called Designer's Choice.
Here's how the "Designer's Choice Challenge" will work!
All of the fabulous design team members for Repeat Impressions
will be assigned a Wednesday, and we get to set the
"theme" for the challenge!  The Theme for this
week's DCC is hosted by Harriet and she is challenging
all of us to do paper piecing.

For my DCC today I have used the stamp
called "701-K, Belle".  I stamped my image
onto Cryogen Iridescent White card stock for my base.
I then stamped Belle onto brown and pink polka dotted
card stock.  I cut out portions of the stamped image from each
and layered them on the White base.  I used my
Spellbinders Parisian Motifs to cut out my stamped image from
the Cryogen white card stock, and also from brown card stock
(you can't see the brown layer very well, but it is there behind
the white layer).  I then cut out 2 of the Parisian Motifs from
pink card stock.  I then cut each of the pink cut outs
in quarters.  I took and pieced those together behind
the brown layer to add the 3rd layer. I then added some
pink polka dotted ribbon to finish my card off.

Here's a closer look at my paper pieced Belle and the
Pink motif layer:

Take a peek at what the rest of the DT has created for
this great Challenge.
