It’s WHAT IF? Wednesday
and time for a new sketch challenge!
The sketch that Wendy designed for the Rock
Stars to follow is:
Here is my take on this sketch:
I have used 912-K, Tulip Bouquet for
my card today. I stamped my image onto
Cryogen Iridescent white card stock using
Kaleidacolor Rainbow ink pad in Blue Breeze.
I cut my stamped image out into a square shape
and added a slightly larger Dk Aqua mat behind it.
I used some light tan and Dk aqua card stock and
a Martha Stewart border punch for my stripes.
I was playing around with the corner punch that
matched the border punch and came up with
my corner embellishment. I added some pearls
and VOILA my card is complete....
Here is a closeup of my stamped Tulip Bouquet:
I really like these Kaleidacolor rainbow pads,
why have I not gotten then sooner than last week, I don't know....
Head on over to the House That Stamps Built blog and
see what the rest of the Rock Stars have created with
this great sketch. While you are there why not enter
a creation that you have done following the sketch.
The rules are really simple......
Your card doesn’t even have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps,
but if you would like to include our designs we would really love to see them!
Plus you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing
for using our stamps in your submissions! Simply create a
card based on the sketch, upload your card to your blog
or Splitcoast gallery, then link your card to this post
Have Fun and I can't wait to see all the wonderful creations.
Thanks for stopping by,
Oooooo love that image and it's magnificent in those colors!! Love the border punch and your own embellie is cute! Love the added pearls!
I love the way you stamped that beautiful image and left it uncolored!! I also like those ink pads and only own one.
Very, very pretty, Dawn! Love your bouquet in those colors. I rarely think to use my Kaleidacolor pads:(
Very pretty, Dawn. Very clever to use the Kaleidescope pad for this image and I love your corner punch embellishment!
Wow! Dawn, this is wonderful!! The colors are my favorite shade of blue and brown! I love how the image looks with Kaleidacolor pad.
Especially love the colors you chose. Never thought of using a shaded inkpad for the image!
