Dies R Us My Luv Bug

Hello Fellow Crafter's!! It's Dawn with you today!! I have a kind of a Valentine card to share with you.

Here's a picture of the supplies I used. I'll link them at the end of this post:

Here are all the pieces cut, but not yet assembled:

I started out by creating my background piece.  I cut a piece of white card stock to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4.  I used Lawn Fawn Lacy Borders dies for this step.  Unfortunately this die is NOT available in the store. But you can use any border die that you want.  A similar die in the store is Lawn Fawn Scalloped Border Dies. I ran the dies thru my Gemini die cutting machine using the rubber mat so it wouldn't cut the card stock, just emboss the card stock.  I continued this until the whole piece was done.

I then added my frames and sentiment to the card front:

Tiddly Inks Flutterby

Hello Everyone!!! I'm here today showing a card I created using a Tiddly Inks image called "Fluttering By to Say HI".

My card is a 6 inches square Criss Cross card. I printed out my Fluttering By to Say Hi image onto some Cryogen CS. I then colored my image using copics (see list below).  I used a Scalloped Oval die to cut out my colored image and for the mat behind it.  I layered some yellow and purple CS onto the diagonal sides of my card. I added some lace.    I added my matted image.  I created a pullout card to put into the pocket of the criss cross card using my sentiment. I added a few pearls to the card front.
Copics used :
Skin E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E35, YR24, YR21, YR20
purples - V17, V15, V12
Yellows - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11

Here is my project using "Stanley Heart Balloons" by Crafty Sentiments Designs.

I printed out my image onto some cardstock and colored it in using copics. The copics that I used are E37, E35, E33, E31, Y13, R27. I used a die to cut out my card base. The die I used is from Crafter's Companion to create a Circle Flip card. I used another die from the set to cut out the side pieces. I used a circle die to cut out my colored image and for the mat behind it.  I attached the matted image onto the circle part of the card base.  I then sut out my sentiment using a heart die and attached it to my card base.

Here's a closer look at all the sparkle that I added to my colored image:

Hope you enjoyed your visit.......

SSS Beanie & Flossie

As a part of the Scrapbook Stamp Society DT , I get to work with some of the wonderful My Besties images.

For my card today, I was able to work with the adorable "IMG128, Beanie and Flossie"

I colored her in using copics. I then used a scalloped oval die to cut her out and for the mat behind her. I made a 6x6 card base. I created my pink layer by running the dies thru die cutting machine using the rubber mat, so it wouldn't cut out the design. I added a couple pieces of printed CS. I then added some lace and ribbon across the front of my card. I then added my matted image. Then, I added some enamel dots  and a bow.

Copics used:
skin -  E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
hair - E35, YR24, YR21, YR20
Pinks - R85, R83, R81
Blues - B97, B95, B93, B91
greys -  C5, C3, C2, C1, C0
