Here is my creation:

I decided to use my Cherry Lynn Oval stackers to create my card base.  I used "Girl with Umbrella" stamp for my image today.  She is stamped onto cryogen card stock and colored with copics.  I used the Cheery Lynn Cuties 1 die to create my 4 flowers at the bottom of my card.  I also used the inside piece from the Cheery Lynn die Dutch Scallop Square Frame.  I took and cut three of these in half and used them around my matted image.  I added a few pearls to finish off my card.  Hope you like it!!!!

Anyone for the Conga!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!  Hope you all are having a great week so far. Today I decided to use a stamp set that I just got from Crafter's Companion.  I am using the "Birthday Conga" stamp set from Humphrey's Corner Collection. Humphrey is just so darn cute, and all his friends are too....

I decided to make another Z Fold or accordion fold card. Once again I used the Ultimate Tool and the directions that came in the booklet for an accordion fold card.  It was pretty easy to follow the directions and the Ultimate Tool made the folds so easy to make.  I also used a decorative cutter that I have to make the curvy top edge, but you can leave it as a straight edge if you so desire or you can cut the top of the card at an angle to give it a bit of different shape.

Here are the basic directions for a Z fold or Accordion fold card :

1.  Take a 12x12 sheet of cardstock and cut it in half to the size of 6x12.
2.  Use your score board and score at 4 inches and again at 8 inches. I used my Ultimate Tool to score my card.
3.  Take and fan fold the cardstock that you just scored.
4.  Finish card as you so desire.

Here is a picture of my card laying flat:

A picture of my card laying flat,  but open so you can see the inside:
I left my center panel blank so you can add your special Birthday message.

and one more picture of my card so you can see how the z fold card sits:

Don't forget to go to the Crafter's Companion website to see all the awesome new stamps that they have, and while there, don't forget to check out all the stamps in Humphrey's corner.

Don't forget to check out our Challenge Blog for the new January "Anything Goes Challenge" this is the last week to play along with us. You will be inspired by all the awesome creations the DT has done, so dig out your Crafter's Companion stamps and supplies and let's see what you can come up with.  You will have a chance to win an awesome stamp set from Crafter's Companion.....

Totally Stampalicious For the Men

Every Monday Totally Stampalicious  issues a new challenge.  The challenge for this week is "For the Men".  Let’s see you create a Masculine card or project!! I have used "Mr Fixit" for my stamp/image today :)

Here is my card for today's challenge:

Masculine cards for me are so very hard to do as I like to add alot of BLING to my cards and Bling just don't work on masculine cards.  I did add a ribbon, but tied it into a knot and I did add a few rhinestones to the corners, it just needed something....

Bunches of Love

Hello Everyone!!!  Hope you all are having a great week so far. With the release of so many of the new stamps collections, the older stamps are not getting used as much.  This week we are taking a break from the sneak peeks, so I decided to dig out my Popcorn Bear stamps. Today I am using one of the Popcorn Bear stamps from the Floral Collection called "Bunches of Love". I really like these Popcorn Bear stamps, they are just so darn cute and cuddly.

My card today is done in purple, this is my youngest daughter's favorite color.  My bear is colored with alcohol ink markers and I used a die to cut out my colored image.  My card base is 6x6 and I used my Ultimate tool to score my card.  This tool is really great and can be used for so many different things, take a peek and see for yourself.  I added some lace and ribbon and a few pearls.

Don't forget to go to the Crafter's Companion website to see all the awesome new stamps that they have, and while there, don't forget to check out the cute and cuddly Popcorn Bear stamps as well.

Don't forget to check out our Challenge Blog for the new January "Anything Goes Challenge" this month.  You will be inspired by all the awesome creations the DT has done, so dig out your Crafter's Companion stamps and supplies and let's see what you can come up with.  You will have a chance to win an awesome stamp set from Crafter's Companion.....

challenging the Rock Stars to create a Scenic with snow!!

Here is my creation for this challenge:

I used "3301-P, Winter Moose", stamped onto

Happy Birthday Friend !!!

Hi Everyone !!!!  Dawn B (Dip 'n Dots Creations) here with a sneak peek of the new Kanji Stamps !! These new stamps are a collection of Asian Art.  They have symbols with their meanings, a few background images and a few flowers.

Here is my project:

I decided to try my hand at an accordion fold card.  I used the Ultimate Tool and the directions that came in the booklet for an accordion fold card.  It was pretty easy to follow the directions and the Ultimate Tool made the folds so easy to make.  I also used a decorative cutter that I have to make the curvy top edge. I added some pearls to kinda soften the corners a little bit and I also added a strip of ribbon and a bow with a pearl brad.  The symbol that I used on the front of my card is "Friendship", I also added one of the fans with just a little bit of color added to it.

Here is my card opened to reveal all three panels:

On my center panel I added the other fan, also with just a hint of color.  For the back panel I used the symbol for "Happy Birthday".  So this is a Birthday Card for a friend.

Be sure to stop by the Crafter's Companion blog  every day to see all the Sneak Peeks from different stamp collections that are coming to Crafter's Companion and check out all the awesome creations from the new design team.

Totally Stampalicious Make Someone Laugh

Every Monday Totally Stampalicious  issues a new challenge.  The challenge for this week is "Make Someone Laugh".  Let’s see you create a FUNNY card!! I have used "Stella Birthday" for my stamp/image today :)

Here is my card for today's challenge:

UGH... Not the best picture.  The flash kinda washed the color out, but with no flash it was too dark.  Will try for a better picture later.   Anyway, I stamped Stella Birthday  onto cryogen card stock and colored her in with my copics.  I had this bright green card stock and the striped card stock in my stash for a while, so I decided to use it today.  My pennants are from a die that i had and I used some rub on letters for the word PARTY on them.  I added some pearls around my scalloped shape.  Hope you like it.....

Crafter's Companion January Challenge

Happy New Year Everyone !!!!!

This is my first post for the Crafter's Companion USA Challenge Blog and I'm pretty excited about it.

This month's challenge is to use a Crafter's Companion Stamp and our theme is "anything goes". We want you to just go wild. Make whatever you want!! You can make a card, layout or altered item.

This months prize is the same as last month cause unfortunately there weren't enough entries.  The prize is  The Humphrey the Elephant Christmas Collection CD and three stamp set of your choice from the the Humphrey the Elephant Christmas collection!!! This new CD collection contains 2 CDs with over 2,500 elements!

Here is my creation for the January Challenge of Anything Goes:

I used the Crafter's Companion Popcorn Bear stamp set called "Someone Special".  This is an image that I have had colored for a while and never turned it into a card as I wanted to hold onto it.  It turned out soooo well.  When I heard about the DT call that Crafter's Companion was having, I talked myself into turning it into a card.  I was shocked when they contacted me about being on their wonderful DT.  This Popcorn bear was colored using 8 different browns and somehow I kept all the strokes to make it look like real fur.  My grass needs some work, but overall I really like how it turned out.

So get out those Crafter's Companion stamps and start creating for this challenge and you could win an awesome prize.

Make sure you go to the Crafter's Companion USA Challenge Blog to get all the details of how to enter, etc....

Thanks For Stopping By,

Dawn B
