The Project Bin

I'm here on this wonderful Wednesday with some inspiration for The Project Bin.  The Project Bin is a stamp company that makes snappy Sentiments.  I was able to use the "  Kinda Pawsome " stamp set to create my project.

I stamped my sentiment and images onto some white CS and used a Spellbinder die to cut out my sentiment. I used the dies that come with the stamp set to cut out my dog images.  I used some paw designer paper and some orange CS for my card base.  I added 2 border strips and added some ribbon and tied it into knots. I then attached my matted sentiment and images.

Scrap N Dipity Spotlight

I'm so excited to announce that I am now a part of the awesome Design Team at

For my first Spotlight post I decided to use "Scrapbooking Christine".

I printed out my digital image onto some cryogen cardstock and colored her in using copics.  I made my card base 5x7.  I layered some designer CS on top of my base.  I used a Gina Marie die to cut out my colored image and for the mat behind it.  I also used a die to cut out my shape for my sentiment.  I then stamped my sentiment onto that die cut.  I used a border punch to create 2 borders, one using yellow CS and the other using the designer CS.  I added these to the bottom of my card. I then added my matted colored image and then the sentiment onto my card front.  I added a bow to the top left corner of my card front to finish off my card.

MHKD January Challenge

Hello, friends!  Welcome to our first MHKDesigns Challenge of 2017. This Challenge is all about keeping it simple and having fun while creating. Each each month you will get  a photo and colour swatch prompt. YOU decide which you're inspired by to create your work of art. It can be either or both. AND you are free to make what ever paper project you fancy - a card, scrapbook layout, a tag, a box, art journal page... you choose! The options are limitless.

The Design Team will be showcasing products from MHKDesigns Etsy Shop and we would love to see you use them too. However, you are free to use any products and enter the challenge to win some fabulous goodies by MHKDesigns. If you use stamps or papers by MHKDesigns you may ignore the Challenge prompt altogether; i.e. it's ANYTHING GOES for you!

Let's take a look at the Challenge prompt:

I made a friendship card featuring the sunflower from MHKD's Stitched Sunflower digi set. I'm also trying to keep it vaguely CAS despite the multiple layers and tiny bling .... Well alright then, it's not CAS! :)

Here's a closer look at the image. I printed out the sunflower and coloured the image with Copic markers. I then used a die to cut out my colored image and for the mat behind it.

And here's a closer peek at the sentiment:

The winner of this Challenge stands to win some fabulous products by MHKDesigns. So make sure you follow the challenge rules and you'll be eligible for the prize. And if you need a little creative boost, you'll find more inspiration by the rest of the Design Team over at the Challenge Blog. You have until Feburary 1st to link up your project.

Thank you for stopping by today and I'm looking forward to seeing what you create for us this month.
