Forest Friends Celebrating
It's time for a new challenge at SP&CO blog. The challenge is "New Technique". We want to see a technique on your creations. For this challenge I chose to do "3D Paper Piecing". It was fun to do.
I got the directions from Splitcoast Stampers tutorials. Check it out and give it a try.
For my card today I used "Forest Friends Celebrating" and sentiment from "Holiday Insides". This is another cute image from Gill Roberts collection. I can just imagine what fun the forest friends will have at their celebration. The technique I used is 3D paper piecing.
I stamped my image about 4 times. I colored different sections of each and then fussy cut the parts out, I left one fully colored and untouched to be used as the base. I used some pop dots to attach each piece to the main image. Give this technique a try and you will really see your image POP.......
A closer peek at my 3D paper piecing:

Sp and Company New Release
It's time for a new release of some awesome stamps at Sp and Company. When I first saw this stamp, I thought of my girls when they were young cutting out valentine's. This new stamp is from the Tina Wenke Collection called " Erin Making Valentine's".
I stamped the image onto some cryogen cardstock and colored her in using copic markers. I added a heart doily behind my colored image. I also added a few SP and Company buttons.
Hope you will come over to the SP blog and check out all the creations from the design team.

Sp and Company challenge
I am excited to say that I am now a part of the SP & Company stamps Design Team.
I hope you'll come over to the SP blog for our new theme, Handmade gifts or tags.
For Nov 3rd's challenge, we would like to see Handmade Gifts & Gift Tags -make anything that could be given to someone (think Christmas gifts) or some gift tags
I took a wooden box that I have had for a while and decided to alter
it so that it could be used to put in a small Christmas gift to someone special.
I used the "Winter Love Teddy Bear " stamp set from the
Gill Roberts collection found at SP & Company.
My image is colored in using copics.
Here is a picture of the what the sides of the box looks like.
I covered the box in green card stock. I then added some red ribbon
around the middle. I added some lace and pearls around the
top of the box.
I still need to decorate the inside of the box, but you can use it
to give a small gift to someone.
Another look at the top of the box. Isn't that the cutest teddy bear??
I hope you'll come over to the SP blog for our new theme, Handmade gifts or tags.

Keikyo Toyoko City Girl
Today is the very first Challenge for a new Challenge Blog called "Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge Blog". I've been lucky to have been picked to be on the Design Team. I am so thrilled to be able to design using some awesome images from our sponsor's. So keep an eye out for all the wonderful challenges we will be having each Saturday.
For our very first Challenge, you must use "Embossing" somewhere on your card or project. And our fabulous sponsor for this Challenge is "Lacy Sunshine".
Here is my card:
I have used "Keikyo Toyoko City Girl". I printed her out onto some cryogen card stock and colored her in using my favorite coloring medium, Copics. I used one of my new spellbinder dies called "Tile Works" to cut her out and also for my embossing I used a dotted embossing folder. I added some ribbon and a bow to finish off my card.
Thanks for taking a peek at my creation. I do hope you all will hop over to "Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge Blog" to see all the other creations from the very talented Design Team.
