Repeat Impressions Beautiful Days Blog Hop

Repeat Impressions has a new series of stamps that have just been released.  They are called the Beautiful Days Series 9200.  Go to the Repeat Impressions website to check them all out.  For this special occasion, the Rock Stars are having a Blog Hop to showcase these awesome new stamps.  As you hop along with the Rock Stars, pick up the different LETTERS to unscramble to make a word.  Once you have collected all 7 letters and have unscrambled them, email Wendy at wendy@repeatimpressions.com with the word to be included in the draw for some awesome blog candy.  The blog candy prize is the entire unmounted sheet of the new Beautiful Days Stamps.  You have until Sunday, 6/3 5PM EST to send your word to Wendy.  Check the The House That Stamps Built blog on  Monday, 6/4 to see if you are the winner.....

Enough chit chat and now my card using these awesome new Beautiful Days Stamps:

 I used "9203-P, Daisies & Butterfly" on this card along with the "9206-H, Beautiful Days" sentiment.
My daisies are colored using copics.  I then fussy cut around the image and popped it up on my card.  The sentiment is cut out using one of my tag dies and also popped up on my card.

Here is another card using the "9203-P Daisies & Butterfly":

This time I stamped the image onto vellum and added some sparkling embossing powder and heat embossed it.  I then did some parchment crafting and colored using Memento markers on the back side of the parchment.  I added some ribbon and a bow.

My next project uses the "9205-O, Hydrangea":

My image is stamped onto white card stock and colored using copics.  I used a border punch to create my edging.  I added a few pearls to finish off my card.

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Ribbon Challenge

Well I decided to get out my copics and do something for fun.  I downloaded and colored one of the new Kenny K Glam Gang images.  I am using Colour Me Jeanette for my card today. 

My card is 6x6 square.  I took a piece of cardstock that was 5 1/4 square and weaved ribbon on it to use as my background.  I added my colored image and of course a bow.  Nothing of mine isn't complete without a bow. LOL.....

Sweet Stamps Sketch challenge

Here is my creation:

I rotated the sketch and used "Fishin Bear" for my card today. Fishin Bear is colored using copics.  I used Cheery Lynn Ovals to cut out around my Bear and for the mat behind him.  I added some buttons as my only embellishment.

With Love From Me to You

Hello everyone!! I am here on this wonderful Friday with a couple of projects that uses "Humphrey" and "Anthony and Burt Hope You Feel Better Soon" stamp sets. I hope you enjoy it.

Project 1 uses Humphrey:

 I found this box tutorial on line HERE.  I modified it a little bit to make my box a little bit bigger, 5 3/4 x 3 1/4.  I used my Ultimate Tool and the Boxer Board for all my scoring of the Chipboard.  My image is stamped onto Ultra Smooth White Card stock and colored using the Spectrum Noir markers.  I added some pearls around the entire box along with a border that I punched using a border punch.

 My next project is also a box, the same as above, but using "Anthony and Burt Hope You Feel Better Soon" stamp set.

This Box is done in purple parchment paper and some light purple card stock.   I am really liking these Anthony and Burt images.  They all are so very cute.  My image is stamped onto Ultra Smooth Card stock and colored in using the Spectrum Noir markers.   Once again, my box is just a little bit bigger than the directions that I found.

I added a border around my box and added some ribbon threaded through my border.  I added a few purple roses to give it just that special touch.

Here is my creation:

I used Carousel Horse Facing Right for my project today.  My image is colored using Copic markers.  I found this awesome box design on a blog that I happened upon HERE.  I took her directions and modified them to make a slightly larger box. My box measures 3 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches.  I decorated my box using papers from the First Edition Sweet Owl paper pad.  I added some flowers and a border using black pearls.  To finish off my box,  I added some ribbon and a bow.  Hope this has inspired you to try something new.

Cornish Heritage Farms Anything Goes

Today is the first challenge for us Design Team at Cornish Heritage Farms and that challenge is Anything Goes.  Go to The Cornish Heritage Farms Blog to get all the details.

Here is my creation:

I used a few stamps from the "Ornamental Beauty" stamp set.  I am LOVING these stamps.  I added some pearls and some lace with a bow. Hope you like it......

Daydream Believer

Hello everyone!! I am here on this wonderful Friday with a project that uses "Daydream Believer" of the  SWALK stamp Line.  I hope you enjoy it.

My card today is a gate-fold card.  I used the Ultimate Tool for all my scoring. The manual for the Ultimate Tool shows you how to make several different cards and how to use the tool for scoring and other things.  My card measures 6x6.  You start with a piece of card stock at 6x12.  Score it at 3 in and again at 9 in.  Fold in the score lines.  Decorate as you please.....    My image is stamped onto ultra smooth premium white card stock and colored in using the Spectrum Noir markers.  I used a die to cut out my image and for the mat behind her.  This is one of my favorite Swalk images.   I added some ribbon and a bow with a jeweled brad.

Here is my creation:

One of my favorite colors is Purple.  I just LOVE the new stamps that were just released, so I picked 4 different ones to use on my card today.  I used "Pixie Silhouette 6004", "5001 Three Stripes Border",   "5002 Ring Around the Rosey Border ", and the sentiment "Just For You".  All stamps were stamped using Shades Dye ink in Rich Amethyst Grapes.  I added some ribbon and my famous bow.

ONTO my creation for the blog hop.  Hope you like it!!!!!!

 All of these new stamps are so versatile and very elegant in my opinion.  I just LOVE them.   I stamped one of the new sentiments from the Garden Delights set and cut it out using Spellbinders Nestabilities, Classic Ovals Large.  I added a crown ovals die behind my sentiment.  I then decided to make it a bit more frilly/girly and added a doily die cut behind the crown ovals.  I added lots of pearls and some ribbon and a bow.  My papers are from First Edition Hideaway paper pad.  I love these papers.....

Belle Of The Ball

Hello everyone!! I am here on this wonderful Friday with a project that uses "Belle of The Ball" of the new SWALK stamp Line.  I hope you enjoy it.

 This is just a simple 6 x 6 card.  I used a few dies to cut out the Belle of the Ball colored image and also to cut out embellishments for the corners.  My image is colored using the Spectrum Noir markers.  The pearls in the corners are also colored using the Spectrum Noir markers.  I really love this little trick.  It is just so nice to be able to color match bling, pearls and ribbon to my projects just by coloring them with my Spectrum Noir markers!!  I added a strip of lace to give it a little bit more of a girly look.  Isn't she lovely......

Each day two designers will be posting brand new artwork they have created using the new rubber stamps.  Visit their blog on the day of their featured project, post a comment on THEIR BLOG HOP POST and you will be eligible to win a grab bag of Quietfire Design rubber stamps valued at $50!!  There are a whopping ""nine" designers sharing their creations with you, so there are nine grab bags available.  You must have commented on the blog hop posts by midnight Friday, May 18th.  One name ill be randomly drawn from each blog, so you have lots of time to enter!!  Tell your friends!!!

Repeat Impressions Big Boys Toys Blog Hop

Enough chit chat and now my card using these awesome new Big Boy Toys Stamps:

I actually used the same stamp on both cards, but colored them way differently.  Both cards are colored using the Copic Spica Glitter Pens and using the Hot Air Balloon stamps.  My background behind the balloons is done using a cloud template.  I added one of the wonderful sentiments that come in this set to both cards.  I added a bit of ribbon and a few pearls.  Hope you enjoy the hop!!!!!!
