I used two stamps for my card today, Benjamin and .
I decided to try my hand at making a Tri Shutter Card. Here are the directions that I followed to make my card.
You need a 5 1/2 " x 12" piece of card stock for your card base.
Then you will use your Ultimate Tool and the Boxer score board and score at 2", 4", 8" and 10", you will have to move your paper in order to score at 10" as the score lines only go up to 8". Picture below shows the score lines.
Then you will lay your card base with short end at the top of the score board and measure down 1 1/2" and start to cut a slit using your craft knife all the way down to the 10" score line. Repeat this step for the other side of the card base. Your card base should look like the picture above.
Then you will fold your card as pictured below:
This is your card base, now you will decorate your card base. You will need to trace the T shape of your card onto your DP and cut out, you will need 2 of these.
The other pieces are: 4 pieces of DP at 1 3/8 x 1 7/8
2 pieces of DP at 1 3/8 x 3 7/8
1 piece of DP at 2 3/8 x 3 7/8
Adhere these pieces to the right sections on your card base
Decorate your card as you please....
Hope you will give the Tri Shutter Card a try. It was pretty easy to do and I plan on making more cards like this.
See you all next Friday with another sneak peek of another new release..
Thanks for stopping by,
