Thank You Mynn Blog Hop

It's the first of the month which usually means it's time for a new challenge at MHKDesigns and also for a new digi set release.  But sadly, Mynn, the very talented owner of MHKDesigns and card creating genius, has made the very tough decision to close the blog (the Etsy store will remain open for the time being at least, but nothing new will be added to it) to focus on what's important to her, her life as a teacher.

The news came as quite a shock to myself and the other DT members,  but it's a decision we totally support. And because most of us already had our cards created for today, we've decided to instead make it a blog hop to say Thank You to Mynn for all she's done for us. The hop order is further down the post.

Here is my card using the May release of "Majestic Medallion":)

I used a circle die to cut out my medallion.
I also used a die to cut out my sentiment.
I added some ribbon across the front of my card.
I attached my image and sentiment.
I then added some pearls and a bow.

MHK Designs April Release

Hello, friends! I'm here today to show you the March Release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop. Today we are featuring the "Caring Crocus" digital stamp set:

Take a peek at my creation... 

I chose to use the image and  a sentiment from the  Caring Crocus set!  I printed out my image and sentiment onto some white CS.  I colored my image using copics. I used a die to cut it out and the sentiment.  I layered some purple and designer CS on my card base. I attached some lace across my card front. I then attached my image and sentiment.  I added and a bow to finish off my card.

Hello, friends! I'm here today to show you the March Release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop. Today we are featuring the "Blessed Lily" digital stamp set:

Hello, friends! I'm here today to show you another New August Release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop. Today we are featuring the "Valentine Roses" digital stamp set:

I chose to use the image and  a sentiment from the  Valentine Roses set!  I printed out my image and sentiment onto some white CS.  I colored my image using copics. I used a CC Designs Scalloped Oval die to cut it out and for the mat and the sentiment.  I layered some pink CS on my card base. Then I layered some design CS.  I attached some ribbon across my card front. I then attached my matted image and sentiment.  I added and a bow and some pearls to finish off my card.

MHKDesigns November Challenge

Hello Friends! Welcome to our new MHKDesigns November Challenge . This challenge is all about keeping it simple and having fun while creating.  Each month you will get a photo prompt. You decide which you're inspired by to create your work of art.  And you are free to make what ever paper project you fancy - a card, scrapbook layout, a tag, a box, art journal page... you choose!!! The options are

limitless.

The Design Team will be showcasing products from MHKDesigns Etsy Shop and we would love to see you use them too. However you are free to use any products and enter the challenge to win some fabulous goodies by MHKDesigns. I made a Christmas card featuring the MHKD's Seasons Greetings digi set. I kept it fairly CAS by only adding some multiple layers, some ribbon and a few pearls! :)

MHKD Tick Tock

Hello, friends! I'm here today to show you another New August Release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop. Today we are featuring the "Tick Tock" digital stamp set:

Take a peek at my creation...

I chose to use just a sentiment from the  Tick Tock set!  I printed out my sentiment onto some white CS.  I used a Creative Basics dies by Rhea die to cut out my sentiment and for the mat. I used another Creative Basics die by Rhea to cut my card base.  I layered some candle CS on my card base.  I attached some ribbon across my card front. I then attached my matted image and sentiment.  I added and a bow to finish off my card.
