Whimsy Stamps "Frog Friend"

 Rain, Rain, go away.......
I am really tired of all this rain we here in PA are getting.  The flooding is really bad. It is the 4th worst flooding on record......

For my Whimsy Stamps post for this week, I used a new digital image that was just released on Sept 1.  The image is from Crissy and is called "Frog Friend".  I really love the digis that Crissy does, they are perfect for coloring with copics.

Here is my Card:

As this is a boyish image, I left it pretty plain.  My image is printed onto Cryogen Card Stock and colored with my copics.  The clouds are done with a cloud template.  The only embellishment that I added were some red buttons.  I really need to go and get some Boyish embellies...  I know there are some of those buttons that come in soo many shapes and designs....

If you go to the Whimsy Stamps Store from now until Sunday, Sept 11th, you can get 25% off on select items....  There are some really awesome stamps and images in the store....

For more Whimsy inspiration, go check out what the other DT members have done at the Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Blog.  And don't forget Whimsy now has a challenge blog, so check that out as well, HERE.....

Repeat Impressions What IF Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Sorry for being late this week with my What If Wednesday
challenge.  I have been sick with some sort of flu bug,
but I'm better now and am in the crafting mood right now....

It’s WHAT IF? Wednesday
and time for a new sketch challenge!
The sketch that Wendy designed for the Rock
Stars to follow is:

Here is my take on the Sketch:

I used 2 awesome stamps from Repeat Impressions
They are stamped onto cryogen white card stock.  I decided
to go with paper piecing for the underpants.  I added some
pearls to the corners and a bow.

Head on over to the House That Stamps Built blog and
see what the rest of the Rock Stars have created with
this great sketch.  While you are there why not enter
a creation that you have done following the sketch.

The rules are really simple......
Your card doesn’t even have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps,
but if you would like to include our designs we would really love to see them!
Plus you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing
for using our stamps in your submissions! Simply create a
card based on the sketch, upload your card to your blog
or Splitcoast gallery, then link your card to this post
Have Fun and I can't wait to see all the wonderful creations.

Sweet Stamps Lace Challenge

Somehow I messed up this post.  I somehow deleted the challenges that I entered this card into and some of the wording.  Don't know how, but I did......

Today our challenge at Sweet Stamps blog is to use Lace,  it can be actual lace, a rubber stamp or a lacy border.

Anyone can enter, but if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber stamp you get two entries into the challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree. Visit the design team blog and you will see what everyone on the Design team has done.

For my challenge card, I began with this beautiful Sweet Stamps Rose Heart Large.  It was stamped onto Cryogen Card Stock and colored in with my copics.  I added some rose lace that I had and some pearls into the corners. Hope you like it.......

Be sure to visit Sweet Stamps blog and see what the rest of the team has created for you.   And please join in on the fun!

Challenges Entered:

Deep Ocean Challenge #7 - Hearts
PaperTake Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes
Ribbon Carousel Challenge - Anything Goes with ribbon (anything that comes on a spool)
