Here is my creation:

I used the "Cameo Lady 589" for my image today. She is stamped onto cryogen card stock and colored in with copics.  The mat behind her is Cheery Lynn Swedish Spring Oval Frame Die, I also cut one of these die cuts and cut it up for my corners.  I added some pearls and voila, finished!!!!
Hope you like it.

Inspiration Monday - Mother's Day

Hello everyone, this is my first time sharing for Monday Inspiration on the Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog! I'm so excited to be part of this creative group of stamp artists!

This month's theme is Mother's Day, I went back and forth about what stamp to use, there are so many gorgeous stamps that Crafter's Companion has that will work great with this theme.  In the end I decided to go for the Popcorn Bear, this is one of my favorite stamp lines. This cute Popcorn Bear is from the "Floral Delight" Popcorn Bear stamp set in the Platinum collection.

My bear is colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol ink markers.  I added one of the sentiments from the stamp set.  My frame around my colored image is a die and the gorgeous double frame around the first frame is also from a die that I cut apart and placed piece by piece to achieve the double layered look.  I added a leaf flourish and a few handmade flowers in the lower left corner.   As a finishing touch I added a few pearls around my frame that I threaded white ribbon through.

I hope I gave you all some great inspiration to dig out those Crafter's Companion stamps and enter our great April Mothers Day Challenge

Flower Note Card Holder

Hi Everyone!!!!  Dawn B here on this wonderful Friday, to show you all a project I did using the latest release Art Kure. One of my teammates, Tracy Valure, showed this wonderful project that she did on her blog and well when I saw it I thought it would be perfect to showcase some of these new flower stamps by Art Kure.  So with Tracy's permission I am going to show you how to make a note card holder to hold a few note cards.

Here is my project for today:
I used the Large Daffodils for my main image on the outside of my note card holder. My image is colored in using the Spectrum Noir markers, which are now available at Crafter's Companion.

To make the note card holder, I used one of my Grand dies to create the base and added a 5x4 box.  After cutting out the base, I scored it at 3 inches on one end, using my Ultimate Tool.  For the box I used a piece of card stock measuring 8 x 9.5 inches.  I scored it on the long side at 4 and 5 1/2 inches and on the short side at 1 1/2 and 6 1/2 inches.  Here is the diagram showing where to score the card stock at that Tracy shared:

Once you have the card stock scored, you want to cut it at the 4 and 5 1/2 score line in to the 4 and 5 1/2 score line.  This will allow you to fold the card stock into a box.

Here is side view of the note card holder and a top view showing the note cards inside:

Here is picture of the note cards that I made to place inside, each was colored with Spectrum Noir markers. These use the smaller version of the flower stamps:

Hope you have enjoyed this little tutorial on making a note card holder.  It was real easy to make thanks to the directions from Tracy.  Give it a try.

See you all next Friday with another project of another new release..

Dawn B

My letter for you to collect is the letter E

Here is my card for today's blog hop:

I used 3 of the stamps from this new release, hope you like these stamps as much as I do.  I used "4020K Blossoms" and 2 of the butterflies from "S600N Fanciful Butterflies Set".  I decided to play around with parchment again, I am really liking parchment.  I stamped my stamps using White Dye ink onto Vellum.  I added some Fantasy Gold embossing powder and heat embossed my images.  I used my embossing mat and stylus' to etch parts of my image.  I colored the blossoms using Memento markers. For the butterflies, I just heat embossed them using the Fantasy Gold embossing powder and then fussy cut them out.  I added some ribbon and a bow and a few pearls to finish my card.

Here's a closer look at my images:
See all the sparkle from that awesome Fantasy Embossing powder.  I love it......
