Designer's Choice Challenge - Repeat Impressions

It's time for a new Challenge over at the House that Stamps Built
The Challenge is called Designer's Choice.
Here's how the "Designer's Choice Challenge" will work!
All of the fabulous design team members for Repeat Impressions
will be assigned a Wednesday, and we get to set the
"theme" for the challenge!  The Theme for this
week's DCC is hosted by Darcie and she
is challenging the Rock Stars to create a scenic
card using only Black and White + one other color.

This was a hard challenge for me as I don't really do scenic
cards and I don't have too many stamps to use for
one.  But I managed to use 4 stamps from
Repeat Impressions.  I used "4217-K Red Fox",
"3120-H Where There's",  " 1613-J Summer Tree" and
"3413- C Grass". I stamped my images onto Cryogen
card stock and colored the fox with my copics.
I used a border punch and added some ribbon and a bow
and a few pearls to finish my card off.

Take a peek at what the rest of the DT has created for
this great Challenge.

Sweet Stamps Book Mark Challenge

Today our challenge at Sweet Stamps blog is Bookmarks.

Anyone can enter, but if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber stamp you get two entries into the challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree. Visit the design team blog and you will see what everyone on the Design team has done.

For my bookmark today,  I used the Sweet Stamps "Butterfly bookmark 3008" and "Bookmark Frame 410". I stamped the Bookmark frame onto cryogen card stock. I then lined up the Butterfly Bookmark to be centered in the frame.  The Butterfly Bookmark was colored with my copics. I decided to do a plain rectangle bookmark, but I added layers and some lace edging and to finish it off, I added some ribbon at the top.  I may go back and some beads to the ribbon.....

Be sure to visit Sweet Stamps blog and see what the rest of the team has created for you.   And please join in on the fun!

What If Wednesday - Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge

It’s WHAT IF? Wednesday
and time for a new sketch challenge!
The sketch that Wendy designed for the Rock
Stars to follow is:

Here is my take on this sketch:

I have used the "9010-H  Watermelon" and "9015-D One in a Melon".  I stamped both onto Cryogen Iridescent White Card Stock and colored the melons with my Copics.  I also used a border punch for the lacy edge and a circle punch to cut out my sentiment and for the mat behind it.  And I added some pearls to the corners.

Head on over to the House That Stamps Built blog and
see what the rest of the Rock Stars have created with
this great sketch.  While you are there why not enter
a creation that you have done following the sketch.

The rules are really simple......
Your card doesn’t even have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps,
but if you would like to include our designs we would really love to see them!
Plus you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing
for using our stamps in your submissions! Simply create a
card based on the sketch, upload your card to your blog
or Splitcoast gallery, then link your card to this post
Have Fun and I can't wait to see all the wonderful creations.

Sweet Stamps Bling It Up

Today our challenge at Sweet Stamps blog is Bling It Up.

Anyone can enter, but if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber stamp you get two entries into the challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree. Visit the design team blog and you will see what everyone on the Design team has done.

For the challenge today, I made a GIRLY Card.  I used the Sweet Stamps "Watercan Girl 507". I stamped her onto cryogen card stock and colored her in using my copics.  I also used Cheery Lynn English Tea Party Doily Die DL101.  I cut out the doily with cryogen card stock as I wanted a little bit of a sparkle to it, if you have ever used or seen Cryogen card stock, you know that it has a sparkle to the card stock.  I added some black pearls and a big triple yellow bow.  My finished card size is 5"x5".

Be sure to visit Sweet Stamps blog and see what the rest of the team has created for you.   And please join in on the fun!

Doily Butterfly Card

Since I first saw the post about Cheery Lynn Designs having a Design Team Call, I've been sitting here trying to figure out what to create.  I just LOVE most of their dies, but I really LOVE the Doily dies that they have, so I decided to use those for my card.

Here is what I came up with to submit for the DT Call:

I used the English Tea Party Doily Die, French Pastry Doily Die and the Oriental Butterfly Doily Die. I cut out the doilies from different color card stock and layered them.  I added the Butterfly on top of the French Pastry Doily.  I cut out another French Pastry Doily and cut it into fourths and I added those to the corners to dress it up a little bit.  I also added some pearls to the doily corners and a little bit of glitter to the body of the butterfly.  These dies are so awesome that they really don't need too much embellishments.....

As you look at all my creations on my blog, you will see many uses of the Cheery Lynn dies, especially on my Sweet Stamps DT Creations.
