Welcome to the first Sparkle N Sprinkle
Blog Hop of 2013!!!
We are so enthusiastic about our 2013 Blog Hops. Each hop will
reveal a "theme" rather than just an "image category".
This hop features cards with amazingly-fancy folds! Anything OTHER than the "normal" fold.
If you arrived here by way of
Julie's inspiring blog,
you're in the right place!!!
If not, you may want to start back at the beginning so that you
Did I mention prizes???
To win a prize, leave a comment on each and every blog thru-out the hop.
There are four days to comment - so if you get distracted by life - you can just pick up where you left off.
Three
of the prizes are "hidden" on 3 different mystery designer blogs. Even
the designers don't know who has the prizes on their blogs - so don't
miss any.
Leaving a heartfelt comment inspires, motivates and brings happiness to each designer!
For those who have hopped with us in the past, the heartfelt sharing you left on our blogs also touched our hearts!
My card today uses stamps from the "
Garden Fairies" stamp set. I made a "Gate Fold" card for the hop today. You will want to start off with a 6 x 12 inch piece of CS and score at 3 and 9 inches. Fold on score lines. This will be your card base. Stamp images onto white CS and color in using Copics or other medium Using the 2nd largest Labels 18 die, cut out the colored image. Trace the outline og the die onto some purple CS for the mat behind the colored image. Using some dimensional glue, place it where you want to put the glitter. Sprinkle the glitter over the glue, tap off the excess and set aside to dry. I took and stamped some mushrooms onto the bottom of the left side of the card front and colored them in using copics. I added some sparkly ribbon onto the right hand side of the card front. I placed the matted colored image onto the card front.
Here's a peek at the inside of my card:
For the inside of my card, I cut some purple CS to place on the left and right hand sides. I stamped my sentiment, also from the "
Garden Fairies" stamp set onto some white CS and cut it out using one of the Labels 18 dies. I used another die to cut out a mat for behind the sentiment.
Thank you for stopping in today to check out my creations.
Now it's time to hop on over to the ever talented
