Sweet Stamps Easter Challenge

It is Tuesday and that means it is time for a new

challenge at Sweet Stamps.  The challenge

for this week is Easter.  

My card today uses the Tulip Bunny stamp.

I also used a new die called English Tea

Party Doily Die from Cheery Lynn Designs.

This is an awesome die.  I love being able to make

doilies in any color that I want.

Here is closeup of the doily and tulip Bunny:

Tulip Bunny is stamped onto cryogen Iridescent White

card stock and colored with copics.  

My doily is cut from a light blue green paper.

My main cardstock base is a light yellow.  I 

really like this color combo. 

I added some corner cutouts to finish off my card.

This is a pretty simple card for me, and no ribbon 

or bows....

Girl Talk

It is Thursday and that means another digital image

release by Meljen's Designs for Whimsy Stamps.  

Today Melissa has released some really cute "Girl" images. 

These would be really great for those "Teen Girl" cards.  

My card today uses 2 of the new digital images,

Girl Talk and Girl Tunes.  I also 

used a freebie sentiment that Meljen's gave out

called "Girl Talk".  It really fit right in with these images.

Windy Day

I have a just for FUN card today.  I went

to the Stamp Convention in Oaks, PA yesterday

and came home with some new stamps.  It was

a fun day.  One of the new stamps that I got is from

Repeat Impressions.  They have so many stamps to 

choose from either mounted or unmounted. 

I have used the stamp called "Rebecca".

Here is a close up of my image:

It is stamped onto Cryogen Iridescent white
card stock and colored with copics. 
I added some ground under her feet
and then I used my clouds template
and added clouds.

Center Step Card Challenge

 The new challenge this week at Sweet Stamps is

a Center Step card.  

For my card today, I have used

the stamp called "Horse Portrait Oval".

I love this Wildlife collection by Jacqueline Hill.

I stamped my image onto Cryogen Iridescent White

Card Stock and I used my Warm Grey Copics

to add just a little bit of color to my horse.

My "Happy Birthday" sentiment is computer

generated. I added a bit of bling and 

of course some ribbon and a bow to finish it off.

Class Act Stamps

I'm a bit behind this past week on my postings,

I am posting my 3rd card for The Class Act Stamps.

I have used the Dutch Accessories .

I had a thought about creating a card looking like it was

pictures that were taken from a camera, so my card

is based on a film strip in black and white, but with a

little bit of red added to give it just a touch of 

color.

 Well how'd it turn out??? 

I'm thinking it is almost what I was thinking of, but I'll give

it another try....

Some Bunny Loves You

Meljen's Designs is releasing some new digital images

today.  They are really cute, so be sure to go to

Whimsy Stamps store and check them out. 

I used the digital image called "Cuddle Bun Buddies".

I have been having fun making easel cards, so today's card is also

an easel card.  I used the colors Pink and Blue, as I was

going for a card for a child, and well I like how it turned out.  

I've been trying to not use alot of designer papers on some of my cards

as I don't want the designs of the papers to take away from the images.

My image is printed onto Cryogen Iridescent Card stock

and colored in with my copics.

I used a Martha Stewart border punch called Arch Lattice

to create my layered borders on the front of the card

and also on the inside of the card. 

I added ribbon and a bow to finish it off. 

 On the front of the card I added a sentiment

from the Love Bunnies Sentiments from Raindrop

Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps.  I thought 

this was a perfect sentiment for my card.

Sweet Stamps Think Spring Challenge

Sweet Stamps Challenge #6 is Think Spring. 

Check out the Sweet Stamps Blog for all the details

on the challenge.

For my card today,  I used the Sweet Stamps Cutwork Roses.

I stamped the stamp onto acetate using Staz on ink.

I flipped my image over to the back, and used my 

Pearl pens to add color. I wanted it to look like

a stained glass window. 

I used my Oval Stacker dies from Cheery Lynn Designs

to cut out my card shape, and to make the frame

for my Roses.

You can see how it looks like stained glass.

This was my first attempt at this technique, and I think

it turned out Great.

Class Act Stamps

I have my 2nd project that I've done

for The Class Act Stamps, I'm

a little bit late, but am still dealing with some

problems with the new medication.

My card today uses "Hannah from Holland"

which is in the Dolls of the World Series from

Class Act stamps.

My stamp is stamped onto Cryogen White 

card stock and colored in with my copics. 

I created a "frame" using my 

Cuttlebug embossing plus folder called "Brocade Window".

I used my sponge daubers and while the paper was 

still in the embossing folder, I lifted the flap and sponged

green and pink memento ink onto my design.

I then attached my stamped image behind the cut out

window, and then added some ribbon to the bottom.

And attached the whole thing onto my pink card.

Frolicking Fairies

 The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring a challenge

at Charisma Cardz Challenges. The challenge

is Easel Cards.

I decided to take part in this challenge as I have

never made an easel card before and have

always wanted to try. Well I think my easel

card turned out pretty good, especially for 

a first time....

The image that I used is called "The Fairies Frolic"

and can be found in The Stamping Boutique store.

My image is printed onto Cryogen white Card stock and

colored with my copics.

Here's a close up of my image:

Here are the directions that I used to make my easel card:

I started with a piece of card stock 6" x 12".  I then

scored that piece at 6" and 3" and folded on the scored lines.

I also had a piece of card stock that was 6" square, this is

for my front of my card.  I took some score tape and put that

on the end 3" section and attached my 6" square to that.

Then decorate as you please.....

Whimsy Stamps March Rubber Release Sneak Peeks Day 2

It is Day 2 of the Sneak Peeks

I used one of the new dies called Double Scallop Border die
and cut out 2 from grey card stock and then I
threaded some ribbon through some of the holes.
I Love this new die.

The Stamping Boutique Digi Day At PCP

 Today was The Stamping Boutique Digi Day

at PCP.  I was a bit late today, but I did get a 

card done for the Challenge #3.

If you want to check it out the details of the

I used the Horseshoe image from The Stamping Boutique.

I printed out my image onto Cryogen White Card Stock

and colored it with my Copic Spica glitter pens. 

I wanted to make it kinda sparkly.

My card is pretty simple, at least for me, usually I 

add lots of embellies, but I'm still  not feeling 100%

yet with the new meds.  Hopefully, I'll be back

to my usual self and will have my crafting MOJO

back.

Whimsy Stamps March Rubber Release Sneak Peeks

Today is Day 1 of the Sneak Peeks of

Some great new Rubber stamps being 

released next Wednesday, March 16th at

Whimsy Stamps.

Day 1 is Sneak Peeks of Crissy Armstrong's 4 new

Rubber stamps and 3 new

sentiment sets from Raindrop Echo Designs.

I have used the stamp called "Valerie & Kitty sitting pretty" by Crissy

and "Spring Letter Seals" by Raindrop Echo Designs.

I stamped my stamp onto Cryogen Iridescent White Card Stock

and colored it in with my Copics (list below).

I used my Copic Airbrush system to airbrush some 

White flowers and also some white ribbon, I wanted them all to match

and I didn't have anything close. 

I stamped my sentiment onto a lighter blue green card stock

and cut it out using one of my Nellie Multi Frame dies. 

The white doily is a die from Cheery Lynn called 

English Tea Party Doily Die.

I took and threaded some 1/4 " ribbon through some

of the holes in the doily and then added some pearls. 

You can't tell in the photo's, but

my image is cut out and popped up on the white doily.

Sweet Stamps Parchment Challenge

Hope everyone has been enjoying the Sweet Stamps

Challenges.  Today is Tuesday and that

means it is time for a new challenge at Sweet Stamps.

The new challenge is Parchment, you have

to use vellum on your creation.

My card uses Sweet Stamps Pansy Scroll Frame.

I stamped the stamp onto  vellum with white dye ink

and heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder.

I then flipped my vellum over onto the back side

and used the stylus' to trace/draw inside the lines

to get the whitish look, using the Etching/Embossing Mat.
  I used my memento markers in 

purple, yellow and green to color in the 

Pansy Flowers on the back side.

Please give it a try and you'll be amazed at how this 

technique looks, I was....  It
looks harder than it really is.
I love this look, so be on the lookout

The Stamping Boutique One Stop Hop Card

Class Act First Challenge

It is time for Class Act's very first Challenge with

their very first DT.  Today we are showcasing some

really great Dolls of The World Stamps.

The first Challenge for Class Act is to 

have 3 layers, bling (gems/glitter), embossing.

My Very first DT card is done using the Japanese Doll stamp.

She is stamped onto Cryogen White Card Stock with Black memento ink 

and then colored in with my Copics (list below).  I then used 

my Versamarker and added some black embossing powder

to parts of her Kimono and her hair and then heat embossed those areas.
I embossed the green card stock with an embossing folder and then
rubbed London Fog Memento ink pad over the embossing.

I then added some hot fix gems to her hairpiece and also 

for the swirls on the side. I then added ribbon and a bow to finish 

off my card.
